Parody Song: "Expos Lament" (Set to Don Maclean's "American Pie")
In 2004, when the Montreal Expos were sold and moved to Washington, a long-time CHOM listener and die-hard 'spos fan named Jeff Alexander wrote some lyrics to Don Maclean's "American Pie", which we turned into a parody song. In memory of our beloved (and still missed) baseball team and Gary "The Kid" Carter.. I hope you enjoy this little ditty! With: Bilal Butt (vocals), Jean-Marc Pisapia (piano), Mark Stafford (guitar), Blair Bartrem (bass).
