Album Review

Tempesta is a solid album, closer to Portishead's Dummy than any other album in the Bristol camp (thanks in part to vocalist Helen White). The instrumental tracks often appear a bit bland, though the midtempo drum'n'bass on "Essential Times" and "Dub (So Close)" livens up the proceedings.
