The Beatles Head to India to Meditate

On February, 1968, The Beatles along with wives/girlfriends/friends fly to Rishikesh, India to study Transcendental Meditation under the instruction of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. They spend almost two months there, and write numerous songs that will form the bulk of their next album, now called The White Album. But the exposure the trip gets in the press opens the eyes and ears of the West to Indian music, yoga, and Eastern philosophy.
