This 19-track compilation from Blue Note's Metro Blue label is a curiosity piece and yes, that's a good thing. While it does contain the signature tune "Stormy Monday Blues," it also contains some tracks not seen often enough. Much of the material here was only issued on the six-CD set Complete Recordings Of T-bone Walker 1940-1954 on the Mosaic label in 1990. While the lion's share of the material here is from the Imperial label, there are also cuts from Capitol ("Prison Blues," "You're My Best Poker Hand" and others) Varsity "("T-Bone Blues""), and Comet ("I'm Still in Love With You").
