Rob Kemp in for Terry DiMonte this week. Earlier this morning, we had a visit from the MUHC urologist Peter Chan and comedian Joey Elias to talk about the 7th annual Free Men’s Health Exam.

It takes place today, June 14, 2012 9am – 5pm at Alexis Nihon Plaza. Dr. Chan and his team of volunteers launched the event as a way of reaching out to men and giving them the opportunity to have a full health exam, including a cholesterol test and prostate exam. Though participants must show a valid Quebec Medicare card, the exam is free, and Dr. Chan and his team will not be submitting fees to the government.
