David Bowie has announced his first new album in 10 years.

Titled 'The Next Day', the album has been produced by Bowie's longtime collaborator Tony Visconti and will be released in North American on March 12.

The album's standard edition contains 14 tracks with the 'Deluxe Version' adding three more. Both are available to pre-order on iTunes.

To mark the album announcement, which comes on the day of his 66th birthday (January 8, 2013), Bowie has released its first single immediately.  Titled 'Where Are We Now?', the track is available for download on iTunes now.  Watch the single's video, directed by New York artist Tony Oursler below.

This is a new type of sadness ,i,ve never seen from Bowie .He looks sick and not to happy sounds like he,s expressing his inner feelings .He sounds like he feels alone in his state of what,s going on .If that,s his wife in the video with him then i feel it,s a song saying Where are we now? With the relationship ...and he,s saying in the song as long as there,s me and as long as there,s you !He will be o.k !When your heart is hurting it,s hard to get better from a sickness ?Or the problems came from being sick ,that,s also very hard on a couple .Well that,s my thoughts ...!
