Well it's about time!

Today Nintendo had a press conference in NYC where they announced the release date and specs of the Wii U console. It is going to hit store shelves on November 18th 2012 in North America.

The system is going to come in 2 different versions, a white Basic Set and a black Deluxe Set. The basic will have 8GB internal memory and will include the console, GamePad, a HDMI cable, a sensor bar and an AC adapter and will run you $299.99 in the US. 

The deluxe will contain 32GB of memory, all the gear in the basic set plus a charging doc for the GamePad, a stand for the GamePad and the console along with a copy of Nintendo Land. It will be $349.99 USD.
