The great thing about Montreal Comiccon is you get to discover things that you didn't even know were in Montreal. After all, it's good to put the game controller down once in a while and step out into the real world for a few hours.

One of these great finds is the Montreal Stop Motion Film Festival! The 4th edition is taking place October 19th to 21st at Concordia University’s J.A. de Sève Theater and will feature a film competition, guest speakers and workshops for all ages. We chatted with Erik, Director of the festival and animation teacher at Concordia University:

This year, Montreal Comiccon featured a new featured programming section: HorrorFest. Amongst all the ghoulish exhibitors, we discovered Montreal's own L'hôtel 54.
