Montréal Joue!
Today, the Libraries of Montréal launched their very first gaming festival, Montréal Joue! This festival runs from February 23rd to March 10th at 39 libraries across the city that will be host to over 200 free actives that cover both video games and board games.

The festival is in collaboration with 21 gaming partners including Bojeux, Centre NAD, EA Montreal, Edios-Montreal, Ferti, Filosofia, Foxmind, Hasbro, Institut Nazareth et Louis-Braille, Ludia, Ludik Québec, MJ Games, Pierre Belvédère, Productions Daniel Jasmin, Randolph Pub Ludique, Le Scorpion Masqué, la Société ludique du Mont-Royal, Les Trois Lys, Ubisoft Montréal, Le Valet d’Cœur and WB Games Montréal.
Montreal Libraries offer more than just books:
Their goal is to facilitate access to information, knowledge, culture and hobbies. Montréal Libraries offer access to over 4 million documents including video and board games. For the festival, the Libraries have created an online portal dedicated to games: L'Arène. Visitors to montrealjoue.ca can now discover over 150 games, recommendations and reviews on games, including video, tabletop, online and mobile.
