GREEN DAY canceled a concert in Italy this weekend, after singer BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG had to be "rushed to the hospital."  It's unclear what's wrong with him.  The band just says it was, quote, "due to illness."

Bassist MIKE DIRNT and drummer TRE COOL released a brief video to apologize for the canceled show.
