Ontario family builds giant Transformer sculpture!
An 11-year-old Port Hope, Ont., boy definitely has the biggest toy on the block.
Maximus Dacey’s seven-metre-tall sculpture inspired by the movie Transformers, and made from transmissions and auto parts - with the odd door knob thrown in - was completed this week in the driveway of his parent’s store, Primitive Designs.
“I was in southeast Asia and I was walking through a market when I saw a bunch of small (Transformers) about three feet tall,” Maximum said of his inspiration. “I thought, ‘Why don’t we get a bigger one made,’ and my dad really grasped the idea.”
The biggest challenge might still be ahead - storing the creation inside for the winter.
How happy does this kid look!
