A Parkinson's Foundation in Holland Released a "Harlem Shake" Video?
It's a little disturbing I think!
Okay, is this a clever way to raise awareness? Or just a bad idea? The Parkinson Society in Holland decided to remind people of what a devastating disease it is by releasing a HARLEM SHAKE VIDEO!
The chairman is a guy named Erik Roos, who has Parkinson's decided to skip his medication for a day. So the video shows him struggling just to stay on his feet all while Baauer's song is playing.
Then at the point where "Harlem Shake" videos usually kick into a bunch of people dancing, he falls down instead. And a message pops up on the screen that says, quote, "Shaking. Fun for some. [A] daily struggle for others."
