Coalition-Shmoalition!

Confused about what our Federal "so called" leaders are doing in Ottawa?  Here's an explanation of how a "Coalition Government" would work.  Thanks to Dan Cook from the Globe and Mail for the help.

Prorogue Parliament?

Prime Minister Harper could prorogue Parliament within 1-week to stave off the non-confidence motion, BUT, that wouldn't end the coalition efforts. The MP's could send a letter to the GG (with everyone's signature on it) saying either:  a) to recall Parliament asap or b) allow the coalition to form.

If the vote proceeeds -- and he loses: he would go to the GG and ask for an election and the opposition would ask for a coalition. The decision would be hers -- and she would most likely grant a coalition.

The long awaited...ok the once long awaited now "sure its gonna be released" new GNR album, "Chinese Democracy" will hit stores on Sunday...yes its only at Best Buy in the US...but here in Canada its EVERYWHERE.  But if you can't make it another three days . . . after 14 YEARS of anticipation . . . AXL ROSE has your back.

From now until Sunday, Guns will be streaming the entire album on their official MySpace page.  And by "now", I mean they've promised to get it up sometime today, if it isn't already there.  You can check and see if it's up on GnR's Myspace page.

Ok so last week I posted Bryan Adams' name on my blog.  It was a story about Bryan Adams' being upset at fans and their "Fan Sites".  He hired a company to round them up and shut them down.  There was a crazy part of the story that was a bit out of control where he mentioned that he didn't want anyone mentioning his name on their blog's either.  That's why I did it.  By the way there was nothing from the Sherriff.

Also, the US election is next Tuesday.  Obviously you can't vote if you're not a resident of the Good 'Ol U S of A but you can cast a vote online and see how the rest of the world would vote.

Election Day in Canada (...and not to depress you but I heard this morning we may have to hit the Polls provincially here in Quebec in early December...but I digress...).  Time to drag our Turkey coma induced bodies to the local polling stations today.  It's cliche, but voting is a privilege...no excuses about not having time to cast a ballot today...you have the time...use it!
