Jessica Simpson...supersized?
So Jessica Simpson was on Letterman last night, and although I still think she's beautiful, there's no denying she's put on a little candy coating.
Megan Fox has freaky...thumbs.
If you were one of the lucky ones who had satellite for the superbowl (unlike myself who had to watch the same two damn commercials ad over and over and over...), you might remember a commercial featuring Megan Fox selling Motorola phones.
So ya think she's pretty hot, right? You might not after this.
Turns out she had a hand double brought in for the ad, because well... Megan's got some screwed up thumbs.
Ok Producers were calling them "uniquely shaped thumbs"...but that's like saying "she's got a nice personality".
Superbowl commercials...can you say dud?
People are saying the ads are crappier because of the poor economy...what?! How does no money equal no funny? Just because there's no budget doesn't mean there shouldn't be a quality concept for a commercial...maybe it's just me.
Here's one that I thought was the least sucky. What do you think?
Real life can be better than fiction
Does this sound like a movie plot to anyone else?... Jon Cryer -- who stars with Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men - told the FBI that his life is in danger - and that he thinks his ex-wife has hired a hit man to kill him.
Cryer and his ex are in the middle of a bitter custody fight, which has gotten even more intense recently.
They've upped security on the set of Two and a Half Men.... filming the show without a studio audience "just in case", but producers are denying it...saying it's for "creative", not "security" reasons.
Now get this: Cryer's ex-wife has spoken out... saying she she was "unaware of any threat against Jon". But really, if you were going to hire a hitman, what else would you say?
Best late night TV i've seen in years!
The irony of this thing is killing me. So with Conan O'Brien leaving NBC (with a sweet $32.5 million dollar parting gift for those keeping track), one of the clauses in his contract is that he can't trash the network after he leaves.
But I guess while he's still with the network...all bets are off.

But this is the funniest part for me...looks like NBC wants to keep its "intellectual property rights". What that means...is Conan won't be able to take his creations -- such as Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and the Masturbating Bear -- to his next gig.
What the hell are they going to do with the Masterbating Bear? Seriously.
Can you say father issues?
And then there was one. Two of Hugh Hefner's three girlfriends -- 20-year-old twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon -- are moving out of the mansion.
The Playboy founder, who's 83 by the way, says that his relationship with girlfriend Crystal Harris, who's 23, has been getting "more serious" and that the twins have expressed a lot of interest in doing more Playmate-related promotional work for the company...of course they want to get out...who wants to hang out with an 83 year old? What are they gonna...play kanasta? Maybe a round of bridge...if there's time?
My thoughts are with you!
When I heard about the massive earthquake that happened in Haiti yesterday afternoon, my heart went out to Montreal's Haitian community.
The phone lines are still down, but if you're looking for infomation on someone who may be in Haiti call the emergeny operation centre in ottawa at 1-800-387-3124 or the Red Cross at 1 800 418 1111.
Meanwhile ...a big thumbs up the city of Montreal for stepping up to work with other the levels of government to help with the relief effort. This affects all of us!
And someone thought this was a good idea...
That's awkward.
A rep for KFC Australia tried to defend the ad saying "It is a light-hearted reference to the West Indian cricket team ... The ad was reproduced online in the US without KFC's permission, where we are told a culturally-based stereotype exists, leading to the incorrect assertion of racism."
No kidding.
