Today at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, Ubisoft announced The Fighter Within, the first fighting game designed specifically for next generation hardware and will be available on the Xbox One at launch. Through the use of Kinect, Fighter Within players will be able to play life-like fighting competitions with their friends.
The game is set to give players an all out motion fighting experience, allowing the user to improve their fighting skills and sharpen their plan of attack to with each match. You will be able to throw punches, kicks, counters and combos in order to beat your opponents and partake in what Ubisoft clames to be the most immersive, brutal and liberating fighting experience yet.
“Fighter Within taps into the ultimate fighting game fantasy by offering players the most engaging and physical motion fighting experience on Xbox One,” said Lucile Bousquet, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at Ubisoft Entertainment - Canada. “Players will square off against their friends to test their skills, prove their dominance and unleash their Fighter Within.”

There will be real-time wounds, sweat and facial impacts so don’t expect to come out of your match unscratched. Through movement tracking, varied combinations of attack moves and the glory of beating your friends, the Fighter Within is set to re-envision the fighting experience for the next generation of gaming.
