Mashable is reporting that Sony has sold 2.1 million PS4 consoles in the past 2 weeks. The PlayStation 4 went on sale November 15th in North America, with 1 million units sold in the first 24 hours. The console went on sale in Austraila and 20 European countries on November 29th, which adds up to a total of 32 countries with access to the system.
There is no release date set for Japan beyond the vague 'Spring 2014', but knowing how the Japanese love their Sony consoles, it should be easy for the company to sell well in their homeland.
The PS4 is sold out in most retailers but you may spot one in the wild in your local drug or grocery store. Reports of seeing PS4s in stock in non-traditional merchants have been coming to us from friends and co-workers.
