I always wondered what the controllers looked like on the inside, but never had the heart to break one open. Brandon Allan, a Toronto based photographer, has pulled apart, deconstructed and displayed all the pieces of computer board and plastic that make our favourite controllers tick. His photographs show a beautiful symmetry and display a dichotomy with the tech components placed on natural materials like wood and ceramic.
Brandon states that no functioning controller had been injured in the process of this project. Each controller was well loved to the point of being unusable before it was ripped apart.
The prints are available for purchase if you want to decorate your walls with these awesome images. You can buy them and see his other photographs on his website.
