In a new advertisement for Ubisoft Montreal’s upcoming open world action-adventure game Watch Dogs, Ubisoft hits up the streets of Los Angeles to play an epic prank on oblivious smartphone users, giving a glimpse of what you will be able to do as vigilante Aiden Pearce in the game. Promoting a 15-minute repair service, the repair shop dude adds an app that can basically hack the world through the press of a single button. After a few bursting streetlights and some car crashes, the police show up. Check the clip to see what happens next.
All I can say is that this, ladies and gents, is how you promote a game.
