Born and raised in Ville St-Laurent, Pierre Houde started his career in radio when he was 18 years old. In 1982, he found himself paying more and more attention to sports, particularly auto racing. His passion for racing reached its peak in the mid-eighties when he became General Manager for the Canadian F1 Grand Prix.

In October 1989, he started commenting sports for the newly launched Réseau des sports. He hosted many shows like the weekly hockey report “La ligue en questions”. He is the voice of “Hockey à RDS” and F1 Grand Prix. 

He has won many awards for his reporting including 3 Prix Gémaux and the Artis trophy.

Pierre Houde joins Terry and Heather B every morning at 8:20am for the Habs Report on CHOM 97 7.
