Tito Puente - Exitos Eternos

While the Universal Latino-issued Exitos Eternos is certainly not the best nor anywhere close to the most comprehensive Tito Puente collection out there, it's enough to give listeners already familiar with the bandleader's repertoire a good introduction. The ubiquitous "Oye Como Va" is included here, as is "Ran Kan Kan," "Celia y Tito" (with Celia Cruz), and "Mambo Sentimental," but among the ten tracks there are also a few lesser-known pieces, like "8 Timbales Solo" (exactly what you would think it to be, and very good) and "Envuélvete Conmigo."
