A double-disc collection of L.t.j Bukem's mixing talents, Promised Land, Vol. 1 includes fewer items from his own Looking Good/Good Looking labels, and the lack of intelligent jungle shifts the focus to harder, darker and earlier tracks than are featured on his Logical Progression and Mixmag compilations.
