The soundtrack to the low-budget indie film Kill The Moonlight is appropriately filled with lo-fi singer-songwriters and indie-rockers, most of them quite obscure. Then there's Beck. All three of his contributions -- "Leave Me on the Moon," "Last Night I Traded My Soul's Innermost for Some Pickled Fish" and "Underwater Music" -- could have fit in on Stereopathetic Soul Manure, which makes sense, since the film dates from the early '90s, before his breakthrough with Mellow Gold. They're interesting songs, especially the country "Leave Me on the Moon," but they're essentially just for completists. Read More
