Wharton Tiers

A longtime engineer, guitar tech and noisemaker, Wharton Tiers has worked with the cream of the East Coast's alternative/noise community, including Glenn Branca, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur, Jr., Helmet, Unsane, Gumball, Quicksand, Shudder To Think and Run On. Over the period of half a decade during the 1990s, he also worked on solo recordings with a unique four-guitar ensemble; the album, Brighter Than Life, was released in 1996. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
