Bozi Boziana

Bozi Boziana is a most successful young guitarist, singer, and bandleader in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His fifth album, Bana Saint-gabriel, featuring vocalists Evoloko Joker, Betty Bis Kindobika, and Deesse Mukangi and his band, L'Orchestre Anti-Choc, received a KORA All-African award in 1998 in the Central African category. Boziana first attracted attention as a member of Air Marine, an Afro-pop band he joined at the age of 16. He released his debut album, Sans Frentieres, in 1991. ~ Craig Harris, All Music Guide
