God's Original Gangstaz

The L.A. Christian rap group God's Original Gangstaz consists of Preach D.o.g. and Mr. Reg N.i.c.e., who were both involved in gangs and drugs as young teens. After they discovered their faith, the duo decided to spread the message through rap, and released True 2 Tha Game in 1996 on Grapetree Records. Resurrected Gangstaz appeared the next year, followed by Pawns in a Chess Game in 1999. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
