Blue Zone U.k. was a British trio formed in Roachdale, England, in 1984 and made up of Lisa Stansfield (vocals), Andy Morris (trumpet, keyboards), and Ian Devaney (trombone, keyboards). They scored a U.S. singles chart entry with "Jackie" in 1988. In 1989, Stansfield went solo, with Morris and Devaney as her producers. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
