Dindo Yogo

Known as "La Voix Cassee" ("The Broken Voice") for his unique vocal style, Yogo played with a number of bands, included Orchestre Macchi, his own band Etumba Na Nguaka, Viva La Musica, and Langa Langa Stars. He joined Zaiko Langa Langa in 1983, and the new harmonizing vocal style he brought to the group helped it survive the massive split of 1988. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
