TRADING SEX FOR SUPERBOWL GLORY!

With the '08 NFL season set to start, most beer-bellied men across North America are toiling over their football pool picks as the deadline approaches. The amount of time and money spent on this continent's most-watched sport is usually overlooked, but have you really thought about it?

Millions of power-belching men (and a growing number of women) spend days on end making the right picks for the office pool. Then there's Monday Night Football, NFL's Sunday Ticket, team merchandise, snacks and beer for game nights and let's not forget tickets to see your home team in action!

Is football a pass-time or an addiction? What's more important to you.. 'doin' the nasty' or watching football??

A recent study shows that a significant number of dudes hold the game of football much higher on their list of priorities than SEX!!

According to the survey, 30% of men claim sex is BETTER after their favorite football team wins.. and ONE in TEN think sex is BAD after their team loses.

Overall, ONE in FOUR guys say they'd give up sex for at least a month, if it meant their team was guaranteed to win the Super Bowl.

15% of men say they'd give up sex for the entire football season if it meant their team would win the Super Bowl . . . and 11% say they'd give up sex for, quote, "however long it takes" if it guaranteed their team a Super Bowl victory!

I've definitely become more interested in football the past few years.. but hockey is still my sport of choice, dominating most of my Saturday nights during the winter. Even so.. there's no way in HELL I'd give up a month's worth of wild romps with the missus to see the Habs win the Stanley Cup again.

I mean, what are you going to get out of it anyway? You might rub it in a few faces, while the actual players are the ones making the money and enjoying the fame? Maybe the TEAMS should give up sex and focus more on winning the championship!

Ahhh what the heck. Bring out the nachos and salsa.. its kickoff time!!
