Gewurztraminer -sushi wine and more!

Gewurztraminer 2011, Jean-Louis Schoepfer, France white, $21.25, SAQ # 912501.Very dry and reserved. A Gewurz with the accent on the spice. Subtle notes of lychee but lots of ginger, red peppercorn And Almost a salty tamari note on the finish.

Gewurtztraminer 2010, Cuvée Béatrice, Audrey et Christian Binner, France white, $33.75, SAQ # 11955208. Biodynamic. One of the greatest gewurztraminers I have ever tasted. Not as rich as most, rather shows great acidity and aromatic intesnity. Roses, lychees, and a long spicy finish.
