In the mid-60s, Jackson C. Frank released a masterpiece of folk music in Britain.
This young American songwriter was then close to Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel and has been a musical influence for so many, like Bert Jansch or Nick Drake. However, after the release of his unique album, he disappeared without leaving a trace.
With physical disabilities and a trauma as a result of a childhood tragedy, his mental health brought him to his inner suffering. While he was still missing, his musical influence kept increasing over the years.
That’s when a young music fan decided to look for him. What he discovered was an unrecognizable man, physically and mentally, deeply marked by a tragic existence.
This documentary follows Jackson C. Frank's footsteps to unknot the threads of a dire fate.
