The legendary director-choreographer of Cabaret and All That Jazz adapts the true story of Canadian Playboy model Dorothy Stratten, whose rise to stardom was tragically cut short when she was murdered by her own husband. Released three years after the event, the film uses faux interviews and a flashback structure in an attempt to make sense of the tragedy.
